HOUSTON – A liquor store owner barged into a neighboring store and allegedly shot a robbery suspect in the leg Wednesday afternoon.
Peter Onuhon, 43, suspected the man stole from his liquor store, according to police.
Martin Cardenas witnessed the incident.
“He said give me back what you stole,” Cardenas said. “When he came in here he didn’t have nothing. He sat down calmly like nothing was going on.”
According to police, Onuohn punched the suspect in the face and told him to come outside where he allegedly shot him in the leg once.
The suspect was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Onuohn was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
