HOUSTON—One young boy is using his illness to do a lot of good in the community.

Two weeks ago, 11 News told you the story of Nicky Sauter, a 9-year-old boy who watched a lot of DVDs while undergoing treatment for leukemia. Now he is collecting money to give DVD players to other children struggling through cancer treatments.

Since our original story aired, 11 News viewers have sent in over $3,000. Nicky figures he’s got enough money to buy 30 more DVD players for 30 more children fighting disease.
