GALVESTON, Texas — A Humble girl lost part of her thumb in a wave pool’s suction vent while playing at a waterpark in Galveston, a lawsuit claims.
A Schlitterbahn waterpark spokesman had no comment on the allegations, but he said safety is a top priority for the water park.
Serenity C. Davis was playing the Schlitterbahn waterpark, 2109 Lockheed St., on Aug. 25, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday in Galveston’s 10th District Court by Houston attorney Daniel D. Horowitz.
