LA PORTE, Texas – Two teenage brothers have been arrested and charged with criminal mischief in connection with vandalism at the La Porte High School swimming facility.

It happened on the morning of July 4, 2012. Police said sometime after 1 a.m. that day, the three shirtless, masked suspects, broke through a series of fiberglass panels surrounding the facility and threw various chairs, benches, tables and other items into the pool.

Surveillance video captured the suspects in action, and once the video stills were made public, police said they started receiving Crime Stoppers tips.

Investigators were able to identify and capture two of the suspects, but the third remained at large Wednesday.

Police said they know the name of the third suspect, who is also a juvenile. They believe he lives in the South Houston or Pasadena area.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
