HOUSTON – An alert mother may have saved her child’s life outside Klein Collins High School Thursday morning.
The Klein Collins employee and her young daughter were walking in the parking lot of the school on Ella Boulevard when a car came toward them.
The mother pushed the little girl out of the way just in the nick of time, according to Klein ISD. The woman was struck by the car and she and her child were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Both are expected to be OK.
The driver of the car was a parent dropping a student off at the school.
