HOUSTON – Metro crews were out cleaning up debris in southeast Houston on Wednesday morning after a resident complained about illegal dumping.
Jim Carroll asked Metro to remove the trash since it was on their land. He said he has had problems with people dumping trash near his home.
Carroll said Metro just moved the stuff across the street onto city property.
After seeing our story on Tuesday evening, crews were out cleaning up the debris.
Metro blamed the confusion on a communication breakdown.
They even contacted Carroll who said he was “happy with the cleanup.”
