KATY, Texas—Fort Bend County investigators say an observant neighbor helped them catch two burglary suspects in Katy over the weekend.
Investigators were called to the scene at a home in the 25300 block of Pepper Sage Lane in the Parkway Oaks subdivision around 10:21 p.m. Saturday.
A witness told them he’d seen a suspicious man leaving the backyard of a neighbor’s home, get into a blue Audi sedan and flee the scene.
When a patrol deputy entered the backyard in question, he said he found several TVs and computer monitors on the ground, near a broken window.
Using the witness’ vehicle description, deputies found the Audi a short time later near Scottsbury Court and Windemere Park Lane.
Two suspects, later identified as Randall Taylor Burcaw, 19, and Ezekiel Jordan, 22, were arrested.
Burcaw was charged with burglary of a habitation, possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.
Jordan was charged with burglary of a habitation.
