HOUSTON – Tuesday is National Pancake Day and IHOP is offering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes and encouraging guests to donate to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The pancake giveaway will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at participating Houston-area restaurants. Click here for a complete list of locations.
IHOP has set a goal of raising $3 million in donations for the event. They are also hoping to raise awareness of Shriners Hospitals for Children, a 22-facility health care system that provides children with expert pediatric specialty care, regardless of the ability to pay for services.
The hospitals were founded by the Shriners International fraternity.
