HOUSTON – Both Houston and New Orleans are in for beautiful Super Bowl weather on Sunday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
“A cold front is approaching, but there’s not a lot of wind or showers associated with it,” said Gomez. “This will leave us with cooler, drier air on Sunday.”
We’ll top out in the low-70s under mostly sunny skies.
On Monday, we’ll have a 30-percent chance for rain with slightly warmer temps. The rain goes away Tuesday as temps remain in the low-70s.
Looking at the seven-day forecast, a slight chance for rain returns on Wednesday through the weekend. Our temperatures remain mild for the foreseeable future.
