HOUSTON — A mix of sun and clouds, coupled with cool temps will remain with us over the next several days, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
Highs peaked around 60 degrees Thursday afternoon, with a few clouds here and there. Later this evening, temps will cool down into the low-50s for most of the Houston area. Overnight lows will drop down to the low-40s.
The clouds stick around Friday and Saturday with temps in the 40s in the early morning and daytime highs in the low-60s.
“Continued cloudy skies, that will be the headline over the weekend,” Garner said.
The on Sunday, the skies clear for the start of our next workweek.
New Year’s Eve is looking clear, which means weather won’t get in the way of Houston-area fireworks shows.
