HOUSTON – A cold front is making its way to southeast Texas, making for some gusty wind conditions ahead of the cooler temperatures, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
“We have a little bit of winter trying to slide back in, in early May,” said Gomez. “There’s a slight chance we’ll see some rain as the front is moving through late morning or early afternoon.”
Thursday’s forecast high temperature is 64 degrees with a 30-percent chance for rain.
Friday will be sunny and pleasant with early morning temperatures in the mid-40s and afternoon temperatures in the mid-60s.
Things warm up a little on Saturday and Sunday. Early morning temperatures will be around 50 degrees, and our afternoons will be sunny with temperatures in the mid-70s.
By Monday our daytime temperatures will be back in the low-80s.
