HOUSTON--If you didn’t get any rain on Saturday, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll get a real soaking on Sunday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
By mid-afternoon, storms will have rolled inland and continue to rumble overnight and into Monday. Most areas can expect a half to three-quarters of an inch, but isolated spots could pick up as much as an inch up to two inches of rain.
There is a chance for flash flooding due to the heavy rain and already wet ground, so be aware if you’re planning on leaving the house later in the day.
The 7-day forecast shows Houston drying out mid-week and highs bumping against 90-degrees.
