HOUSTON -– Patchy fog west and northwest of town early Monday will burn off as the sun comes up on what will be a warm day, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain under partly cloudy skies.
“We’re going to be in the upper-70s – around 80 degrees this afternoon,” said Johnson. “It’s going to be muggy since we have a southeasterly flow. It’s going to be a warm day, but our average for this time of year is about 81.”
Tuesday and Wednesday will be just like Monday – warm and muggy with a slight chance for rain.
Thursday the rain chance goes up to 30-percent as a cool front moves through, dropping our daytime temps into the mid-70s.
Early Friday morning our temperatures will be in the low-40s, and in the afternoon we’ll top out around 69 degrees.
The skies will be nice and sunny Friday through the weekend.
