HOUSTON -- We’re going to be dealing with the clouds for the remainder of the day, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“Temperatures won’t be as high as originally predicted this morning because the clouds will stick around through the afternoon. There should be some break in the clouds in the early evening. <
“>Throughout the day you can expect temperatures to climb to the low 70’s. Johnson said temps are still above average. Normally, temperatures would be around 67.
“Get ready for a big weekend warm up! It’ll be in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s Friday through Sunday. Our next chance of showers is Sunday as a cold front moves out. For those ready for the cold, get those sweaters out on Monday! The wind chill could be an issue on Monday with strong winds out of the north. You can also expect the overnight low on Tuesday to reach the low 30’s.
