HOUSTON – We are seeing above average temperatures in Houston and surrounding areas Thursday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.
Temperatures Tuesday will again top out in the mid-70s with partly cloudy skies.
We do have a fresh cold front that will be pushing in through the Red River Valley by Friday afternoon. It is going to produce a slight chance of showers for the weekend.
Friday will top out in the mid-70s with a 20-percent chance of rain. This weekend things cool down just a little as the slight chance of rain continues.
Our next real chance for rain comes on Tuesday and Wednesday, but daytime temps will still be in the 70s.
