HOUSTON—The chance for rain today and through the rest of the week remains steady around 30-percent, but affected areas will only see scattered showers.
"It’s a bit of the same thing every day but the good news is that we’re seeing some breaks in the clouds," said KHOU 11 News Chita Johnson.
Fort Bend and Brazoria County were seeing the heaviest showers in the early afternoon, although storm clouds are expected to move north. Once we head into the evening hours, most of the rain will die out as things cool down.
Until then, conditions are warm and muggy with highs in the low 90s.
