HOUSTON – Tuesday afternoon started warm and dry with little humidity, but that's expected to change in the evening hours as some scattered clouds move in, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
The day started with lows in the mid-60s, but the temps will quickly rise to a high of 90 degrees.
"Today we remain fairly clear and dry," said Johnson. "Then we see an increase in clouds. It's going to be into Wedensday and Thursday that there will be scattered showers, and then it will probably be Friday that we're tracking our next front to push through."
Rain chances increase as we close out the week with a 40-percent chance on Friday. In the seven day forecast, overnight temperatures remain in the low- to mid-70s while afternoon highs will be in the upper-80s to low-90s.
