HOUSTON – Clear skies brought cooler temps early Wednesday morning, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Temperatures before the sun came up were in the 30s and 40s across southeast Texas.
“Those clouds broke apart yesterday, so with the clear skies our winds have significantly calmed down as well,” said Johnson. “Even though it’s a chilly start to the day, temperatures should rise pretty quickly.”
The afternoon forecast high is 68-degrees. Thursday there’s a 20-percent chance for rain with a forecast high of 70-degrees.
Enjoy the cool temps because starting Friday we’ll be back in the upper-70s with a slight chance for rain much of the weekend.
