HOUSTON—Houston woke up to cooler temperatures Tuesday thanks to a front that moved through overnight, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Early morning temps across the area were in the 50s and 60s.
“Up near Brenham we are 10 to 15 degrees cooler than where we were 24 hours ago,” said Johnson. “Some of that colder air is first going to hit our northern counties, and then it’s going to come into town over the next couple of days.”
The rest of the day Tuesday will be cool and partly cloudy with a high of 64 degrees. Overnight lows tonight will be colder, dropping down into the low 40s.
A slight chance of rain returns later this week through the weekend, but temperatures will remain on the cool side through at least Thursday.
