HOUSTON – Temperatures are steadily dropping and Friday morning we’ll see chilly and windy weather in the Houston area, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
The wind advisory has been extended to 4 a.m. Friday morning.
“We’ve seen some gusts up to about 40 MPH,” he said. “It is blowing out there. It will not surprise me to see a spotty power outage here and there.”
Friday morning we’ll have low temperatures near record levels for this time of the year. By noon we’ll reach the upper 50s and highs are expected to top out in the mid-60s.
Things warm up a little on Saturday and Sunday. Early morning temperatures will be around 40 and 50 degrees, and our afternoons will be sunny with temperatures in the mid-70s.
By Monday our daytime temperatures will be back in the low-80s.
