HOUSTON -- It was a mild and sunny day in the Houston area, where temperatures topped out around 60 degrees Friday afternoon.

We’re not done with the cold temperatures yet. Overnight into Saturday morning we'll be back in the mid-30s, but the high for Saturday will reach the upper 60s.

For those who will be tailgating at Texans-Vikings game on Sunday, temps will be in the mid-70s with a light breeze of about 10-15 mph.

There’s a 20-percent chance of rain on Monday, but our best chance for showers will be on Christmas Day. Some northern parts of Texas may have a white Christmas, but don’t expect to see any snow down here.
