HOUSTON – We’re starting to see east and southeasterly winds warm things up along the Gulf heading into the weekend, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Early Thursday morning temperatures north of Houston were in the 30s, while in the city and along the coast temperatures were in the 40s. Most of southeast Texas will top out in the low- to mid-60s this afternoon.
“We will start to see some changes in the form of rainfall beginning Friday with a warm front that starts moving back up along the coast,” said Gomez.
On Friday there’s a 30-percent chance of rain with a high temp of 66-degrees. On Saturday there’s a 40-percent chance of rain with a high temp of 75-degrees. Sunday there’s a 60-percent chance of rain with a high temp of 73-degrees.
By Monday the rain will go away, but temps will remain in the low-70s through at least next Wednesday.
