HOUSTON – Our chance for rain and thunderstorms will increase as a front moves through the Houston area late Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“It was very warm and humid this morning,” said Johnson. “Temperatures were not able to cool overnight due to cloudy skies. You’ll see a few rain drops throughout the day.”
Tuesday we’ll top out around 80 degrees under cloudy skies.
The greatest chance for rain and possibly severe weather will occur starting around 8 p.m. The bad weather should move through overnight, leaving us with a cloudy and cool Wednesday morning in the upper-40s. Wednesday afternoon we’ll top out in the low- to mid-60s.
We’ll see more sun starting Thursday as our temperatures once again creep toward the 70s heading into the weekend.
Monday we’ll have another chance for rain at 30 percent.
