HOUSTON — The Houston area will endure “bitter cold” air for at least the next seven days, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Lows kicked off in the upper-30s and highs are expected to top off right at 40 degrees, with a 40-percent chance for rain. In fact, the wind chill will make it feel as if we are in the 20s in most parts of the Houston area and temperatures are hovering right above the freezing mark for most of Southeast Texas.
We won’t be seeing the sun for most of next week as highs linger between the mid-40s to lower 50s.
