HOUSTON -- Enjoy the pleasant weather Friday and Saturday, because big changes are on the way, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
“As a new front starts to drift closer and closer, it will pull more gulf moisture into the weather picture along with showers and thunderstorms likely by the end of the weekend,” said Gomez.
On Friday we’ll top out in the upper-60s, low-70s under mostly sunny skies. Saturday will be a little cooler with a 30-percent chance of rain.
Sunday the temperature jumps into the upper-70s along with a 50-percent chance of rain.
The rain carries over into next week until we clear out Wednesday. Daytime temps will drop into the mid-60s next week. Overnight temps will be in the 30s by the end of the week.
