HOUSTON – You may need an extra blanket again tonight with forecast lows in the 40s.

Temps dipped into the 30s and 40s across southeast Texas overnight Tuesday, but the sunshine quickly warmed things up.

The afternoon forecast high is 68-degrees. Thursday there’s a 20-percent chance for rain with a forecast high of 70 degrees.

Enjoy the cooler temps while you can. Starting Friday we’ll be back in the upper 70s with a slight chance for rain through much of the weekend.
