HOUSTON – We got off to a foggy start Thursday, but the afternoon will shape up to be quite nice, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.

Thursday kicked off with lows in the 60s and afternoon highs will rise to the mid-70s. The extended forecast shows highs will remain in the upper-70s through Sunday, and lows will waiver between the mid-50s to lower-60s.

The skies will remain clear for the rest of the work week, but that will change over the weekend. There is a 20-percent chance for rain Sunday, which will increase to 60 percent on Monday.
