HOUSTON – It will be cold, but clear as Black Friday shoppers run from store to store bargain-hunting, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.

Shoppers battled temps in the upper-30s Friday morning, but afternoon temps are expected to rise to the lower-60s. The weekend will be nice and clear also with highs in the mid-60s as a slight warming trend kicks in.

Afternoon highs will continue to rise daily, reaching the lower-70s by next week, with the chance for showers returning to the forecast by Monday.
