HOUSTON –- Thursday’s wet weather has forced the cancellation of all after-school activities within the Houston Independent School District.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 1 p.m. for Austin, Colorado, Grimes, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, Waller, and Washington counties, and a Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 4 p.m. for Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Jackson, Matagorda, and Wharton counties.
