HOUSTON – Our afternoons over the next few days will remind of us more early spring-like temperatures, but big changes are on the way this weekend, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
Thursday’s highs are expected to reach 74 degrees. The day will begin in the lower-50s.
Highs will increase a few degrees each day, reaching the upper-70s on Friday and will be close to 80 degrees on Saturday with a 70-percent chance for rain. After that, temps will begin to drop again.
“We’ll continue our warming trend up until Sunday,” Paul said.
A cold front will move in Sunday and linger through the holiday week.
