HOUSTON – The humidity will continue to increase with temperatures being slightly warmer overnight Thursday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.

Highs peaked in the mid-80s this afternoon, and will drop down to the mid-60s overnight.

With more moisture in the air, the possibility for rain will increase heading into the weekend with a 20 percent chance of rain on Friday.

Isolated showers are expected on Saturday and Sunday with the best chance for rain coming Saturday morning as showers move in from the Gulf.

Fall temps are expected to return on next Wednesday as a cold front moves through the area.
