HOUSTON — The Houston-area will see a slight chance for rain on a very warm Monday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
In the early morning hours, rain was coming in off the Gulf of Mexico, some of it making its way into Houston. Some patches of fog were reported.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to track significant rainfall, but today we’re just going to see isolated showers,” said Johnson.
There’s a 30-percent chance of rain Monday with a forecast high temperature of 83-degrees.
On Tuesday we’ll have a 40-percent chance of rain with a high of 78-degrees.
Things cool off a little on Wednesday as temperatures drop back into the low 70s, but a slight chance for rain will remain.
