HOUSTON – The area could see one more day of record highs and spring-like weather just before a cold front moves through Houston on Sunday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
There will also be some scattered showers Saturday afternoon with a 20 percent of rain.
Late Saturday night, a frontal boundary of Sunday’s cold front will move in bringing a line of thunderstorms to the area.
The cold front should arrive Sunday afternoon with a 70 percent chance of rain with temperatures dropping to the 40s overnight.
