HOUSTON -- Sunshine returned to Houston on Friday with daytime temps in the 60s.
“We have high clouds in the area today, but sunshine is pushing in from the west,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner. “The clouds are ahead of the next storm system that will bring us showers Saturday afternoon into Sunday.”
There’s a 20-percent chance for rain Saturday and a 40-percent chance Sunday.
Daytime temps will drop slightly for the start of the new week, but we’ll increase to the mid-70s by Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday another front moves through, putting us in the upper-30s early Thursday morning.
