HOUSTON -- An upper-level storm system that dumped several inches of rain on the Houston area earlier this week is making a comeback.
Street flooding may be possible through Saturday evening as most of Houston’s bayous and creeks are still swollen. Some parts of town could get at least three more inches of rain.
There’s a 70-percent rain chance on Saturday with a forecast high of 86 degrees.
Sunday will be slightly nicer with a 50-percent chance for rain.
Next week the skies will begin to clear out as our afternoon temperatures reach 90 degrees for the first time in over a month.
Our overnight lows will remain muggy and in the low-70s for the foreseeable future.
