HOUSTON – There is a slight chance for isolated showers overnight Saturday, but nothing significant, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

Most of the rain heading our way along the Eastex Freeway will break up before it gets to the Houston area.

Looking at this holiday weekend, things will be hot, humid, and sticky with afternoon temperatures around 90 degrees for the next several days. However, the humidity will make it feel warmer than that. Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

There’s a 20-percent chance for isolated showers through Monday, but our skies will still be mostly sunny.
