HOUSTON -- A few showers passed to our east early Thursday, but the warm temps are expected to stick around this evening for the Skeeters opening day game, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
“A lot of the activity dissipated early Thursday afternoon,” said Paul.
Meteorologist Chita Johnson will throw out the first pitch at 7:05 p.m. and temps will be in the low-80s.
Friday and Saturday the skies will be clear with slightly warmer daytime temperatures.
By Sunday a chance for rain returns as we get well into the upper-80s.
By Monday we could see our first 90-degree temps of the year.
Early next week the skies clear out again, and our daytime temps drop into the mid-70s thanks to a front.
