HOUSTON -- Monday afternoon another round of isolated downpours started popping up in the Houston area.
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain this afternoon as we top out around 92 degrees.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 7:30 p.m. for Harris County.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the chance for afternoon showers continues.
"It'll be hot today of course, but it'll be the kind of heat later this week when it'll really be hot," said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There's a very slight chance for rain on Friday.
This weekend the rain chance goes away and the daytime temps get into the mid-90s.
