HOUSTON -- There’s another chance for isolated rain and storms Wednesday afternoon ahead of a building heat wave, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There's a 20-percent chance for rain today and a 30-percent chance tomorrow.
“Any chance for rain diminishes by 8 p.m.,” said Garner.
Garner says Friday brings us our next best chance for rain at 40-percent.
By the weekend the rain chance dwindles back down, leaving us with just a few clouds and hot temperatures. Our daytime temps will climb into the mid- and upper-90s by next week with overnight lows in the upper-70s.
In the coming days we could hit 95 degrees for the first time this year -- much later than usual.
