HOUSTON — If you’re planning a trip outdoors on this July 4th holiday, go ahead, the weather will be working in your favor for the most part, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
The day will be nice and warm with highs topping off in the mid-90s. However, there could be a few isolated showers this afternoon.
Don’t worry, that 20-percent chance for rain will not be enough to put a damper on any Fourth of July activities.
This weekend, however, the rain chances will increase due to some tropical activity. There will be a 40-percent chance for rain on Saturday, which will increase to 60 percent by Tuesday.
