HOUSTON – Drivers should be careful Tuesday afternoon as a dense fog will make visibility an issue for the commute after work.
KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said the fog could cut visibility down to as low as a quarter of a mile in some areas.
In meantime, a few scattered showers remain from Tuesday morning’s heavy rains, but a second wave of thunderstorms is slated for later this evening. This second wave could dump another inch of rain with a possibility of some isolated weak tornadoes.
The temperature is expected to remain steady this afternoon in the upper-50s to low-60s.
