HOUSTON — Expect to see more clouds Saturday before the sun finally breaks through later this weekend, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Temps started off in the mid-40s for most of the Houston area on Saturday morning. Highs will peak in the upper-50s in the afternoon.
Overnight temps could get down to the upper-30s making for a chilly Sunday morning.
The sun returns Sunday allowing for temps to reach up into the 60s. But on Monday, the daytime temperatures drop by about 10 degrees after another Canadian cold front pushes through Sunday night.
Our early-morning temperatures next week will be in the low- to mid-30s. New Year’s Eve is looking clear, which means weather won’t get in the way of Houston-area fireworks shows.
