HOUSTON -- The weather in the Houston area will be hot all weekend long, but there’s a slight chance for isolated showers on Saturday, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
An upper-level high pressure system has kept southeast Texas dry for the last several days.
There’s a 10-percent chance for rain Saturday morning with a forecast low of 77 degrees.
“You will be very lucky if you see a rain shower on Saturday,” Paul said.
Saturday’s weather will be a lot like Friday’s with high in the upper-90s. On Sunday, however, we have a slight increase in the chance for rain.
By Monday we will be hot and sunny again with no chance for rain. Next week looks even hotter with temperatures near 100 degrees.
