HOUSTON — The weather in the Houston area will be hot all weekend long, but there’s a slight chance for isolated showers.
An upper-level high pressure system has kept southeast Texas dry for the last several days.
There’s a 10-percent chance for rain Friday evening with a forecast low of 77 degrees.
Saturday’s weather will be a lot like Friday’s with high in the upper-90s. On Sunday, however, we have a slight increase in the chance for rain.
“This weekend we’ll be in the upper 90s, but we have about a 20-percent chance for a downpour on Sunday,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
By Monday we will be hot and sunny again with no chance for rain. Next week looks even hotter with temperatures near 100 degrees.
