HOUSTON – Our “feels like” temps were already in the 80s out the door early Thursday, and the afternoon won’t be any better, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Johnson says we’ll top out around 95 degrees this afternoon, but it’ll feel more like 100 degrees due to the humidity.
We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Thursday with winds out of the south-southwest.
“So yes, it’ll be very hot this afternoon, but the good news is we have rain right around the corner,” said Johnson.
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain Friday -- mainly in the early-morning hours, before sunrise.
The rain chance decreases to 20-percent on Saturday and Sunday.
The skies start to clear up next week as daytime temps stay in the low- to mid-90s.
