HOUSTON – The weather in the Houston area on Friday will be hot and muggy which is a trend that will carry on into the holiday weekend.
Friday morning temps will start in the mid-70s and top off at 97 degrees in the afternoon.
“The heat is on,” said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. “Summer is not over yet.”
Labor Day weekend will be hot, and a few more clouds enter the forecast at the start of next week, bringing back a slight chance for rain. Next week's temps stay warm and muggy, however.
