HOUSTON – Temperatures will once again be in the mid-90s on Wednesday afternoon with a chance for scattered rain.
"We have a hot day on the way today -- humid as well," said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner. "This morning we had a little rain along the coastline, but most of it dissipated as it moved inland."
There’s a 30- to 40-percent chance for showers through the weekend, mostly in the afternoon hours. We’ll top out in the mid-90s with overnight lows in the mid- to upper-70s.
Next week there’s little relief from the heat as a mix of sun and clouds continues.
Out in the Caribbean, Tropical Depression #7 has formed, according to the National Weather Service. There is no threat to the United States at this time.
