HOUSTON – Tuesday evening will remain hot, humid and sunny with temps in the mid-80s, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
The chances for rain are diminishing for the rest of the week.
High pressure is building in, pushing our temperatures higher in the coming days. We could see our first triple digit temps this weekend.
“I think 100 [degrees] is quite attainable on Saturday even in downtown Houston,” Garner said.
On Sunday and Monday a chance for scattered showers returns.
Looking to the Tropics, things remain calm with no disturbances for the foreseeable future. On the Pacific side, Hurricane Cosme formed off the west coast of Mexico. It’s heading west and is not expected to impact the mainland.
