HOUSTON – The first weekend of December feels more like April as Saturday is off to a cloudy, balmy start with temperatures in the upper 60s, KHOU 11 Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Temperatures will hover in the upper 60s until late this morning before it gradually gets up to the 80s this afternoon.
The communities west of Houston like Tomball and Brenham may see some scattered showers this afternoon, but they will not put a dent into the low rain totals accumulated from one of the driest Novembers on record.
Houston only received about a half inch of precipitation during the last month.
