HOUSTON -- Clearing skies for the entire Gulf Coast region sets the stage for a much cooler Friday morning, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.

On Friday there’s a 10-percent chance for rain with temps kicking off in the upper-50s.

“You will need a light jacket in the morning,” Paul said.

There is a forecast high of 75 degrees on Friday.

The possibility of rain increases Saturday with a 30 percent chance for rain. There will be a forecast high of 72 degrees.

By early next week our daytime temperatures will start to climb back into the low-80s under mostly sunny skies.
